How to use the Call screening feature with AI assistant on the Samsung Galaxy S26 series
The Call screening feature on the Galaxy S26 series allows an AI Call assistant to answer calls for you and ask the caller who they are and why they're calling. You'll be able to see the live conversation on screen even if you don't answer the call. Answer the call at any time or even switch to Text call at your own convenience.
How to activate Call screening
Call screening automatically plays a voice greeting to the caller when a call comes in and records what the caller says.
How to activate Auto screen calls
When Auto screen calls is turned on, suspected spam, phishing, or unknown calls are screened automatically.
How to answer the phone with Call screening
When a call comes in, tap Call assist. The assistant will answer for you to find out who's calling and why. Once you see the caller's details, you can choose to take over the call yourself.
How to use Text call
After checking the caller's name and purpose through Call assist, you can use Text call to have the AI speak on your behalf if you're unable to take the call yourself.
How to check call details after a call
After the call ends, you can view the conversation in Call assistant from Recents.
